Binance has announced that it has changed the name of the Binance Feed to Binance Square in an effort to turn the platform from a simple content aggregator into a vibrant social network that mainly relies on user-generated content.
Since the launch of their brand-new user-generated content feature, registered Binance users in the vast majority of markets are now able to actively take part in platform conversations and create their own content.
Unique monetization tools have just been added to Binance Square for the benefit of both users and creators. Users can receive incentives through bitcoin boxes, affiliates can earn commissions, and content creators can be thanked for their work through a tipping tool.
More monetization tools and product improvements are slated for release as Binance Square is dedicated to developing a strong social platform for the future.
Binance Square has always been about creating a community-first social platform, and today’s announcement is a step in the right direction, according to Changpeng Zhao (CZ), CEO and Founder of Binance. We are thrilled to welcome new members to the platform we have created for the Web3 and crypto communities to share information.
With over 30,000 hashtags used so far, Binance Square (formerly known as Binance Feed) features hot topics from the Web3 and cryptocurrency community. Additionally, it has amassed over 10 million active monthly users across its web and app editions in less than a year.
