Bitcoin Has Potential to Become a Universal Currency, Says Joe Rogan
In the most recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan expressed optimism for Bitcoin and his belief that it could one day serve as a universal medium of exchange. He thinks that Bitcoin is the most fascinating cryptocurrency and has the best chance of gaining widespread acceptance.
In his conversation with OpenAI’s founder Sam Altman, Rogan says, “That’s the one that has the most likely possibility of becoming a universal viable currency.” Rogan claims that he finds it quite intriguing that there is a limit on the amount of people that are able to mine Bitcoin. He also referenced the Bitcoin user and Greek software entrepreneur Andreas Antonopoulos. “When he talks about it, he’s living it,” he observed. He uses Bitcoin to pay for everything, including his rent, and for everything he does.
BTC has been the most profitable asset over the past ten years. According to Blockchain.com, 3129 out of 3597 days have seen a profit for BTC. A few years ago, Joe Rogan struck a deal and spent $100,000 in Bitcoin.
