Friend.tech now allows users to secure their accounts with a 2FA password thanks to the addition of another security feature.

After its customers lost more than 234 ETH in SIM swap attack last week, the decentralized social network added the 2FA option to be more careful. Many users reported that a hacker had stolen thousands of dollars’ worth of ETH from their Friend.tech account.

Although the team has advised customers to use 2FA carefully, it cannot be reset from the platform or by the team. This feature is added with support from the Privy team, a Web3 security platform.

Additionally, Friend.tech closed a significant loophole last week by introducing a function that lets users add or remove log-in options for their users.

Since last month, the unique DeSo program has undergone significant improvements thanks to the integration of a variety of user-friendly and account-security-related features.
