A fresh 15,000 ETH transfer from a separate address shows that the recently awoken FTX exploiter is still moving the stolen money.

The most recent 15,000 ETH transfer originates from a different address than the one from which the hacker moved 15,000 ETH during the previous few days. It has now traded 30,000 ETH in total, which is equal to $50 million.

The most recent transfer from the second address moved $25 million in two 7,500 ETH transactions on October 1st and 2. It also adhered to earlier transactions, all of which were made to the THORChain Router, a bridge to Bitcoin.

The FTX exploiter entity started transferring money last week after going dormant for more than ten months, moving 5,000 ETH at first on September 30. Since then, over the last 4 days, the exploiter has shifted ETH valued at millions of dollars.

When the court trial for FTX founder SBF was about to begin, the fund movement was launched. This raises the possibility that an insider was involved in the multi-million dollar hack that happened in January 2023.

Data from Spotonchain indicates that the FTX exploiter entity still has about $248 million in stolen money spread across various addresses.
