Nicknamed the VIA Tile Trunk, this innovative NFT was created by Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Louis Vuitton. A small cube bag in the style of a trunk that was shown off at the Spring-Summer 2024 fashion show served as the model for this tiny virtual trunk. Louis Vuitton is entering the Web3 market with the VIA Tile Trunk.
Only 200 versions of the limited-edition VIA Tile Trunk NFT collection, which retails for 6,000 euros, are available to owners of the brand’s VIA Treasure Trunk, which debuted in June 2023.
According to the website, VIA Tile Trunk NFTs are cube bags that measure 8.5 x 8.5 x 8.5 cm and are modeled after the hard-sided key features with S-lock. In February 2024, NFT collectors will be able to physically claim their bags.
With the launch of VIA, a new initiative that provides its VIA consumers with exclusive digital products and experiences, Louis Vuitton is extending its Web3 presence. By offering a 360-degree experience that covers digital, communications, sales, and legal issues, VIA hopes to draw in a new group of customers.
By seamlessly merging the digital and real worlds, Louis Vuitton hopes to expand the in-store experience into an infinite space. The company wants to release a number of digital collectibles that Treasure Trunk users can access with keys they have obtained.
Though its Web3 venture is still in its early phases, Louis Vuitton is already making notable progress. Louis Vuitton’s dedication to this new frontier is evident in the VIA Title Trunk NFT Collection, and in the years to come, there will undoubtedly be many more ground-breaking initiatives in its wake.
