Nokia showed a metaverse-based intelligent industrial management system at the 2023 India Mobile Congress, which is now taking place in New Delhi and will end on October 29.
A metaverse-based intelligent factory management system will make use of cutting-edge technologies such as Blockchain, decentralized networks, XR, AI and ML, and others. The intelligent factory management system, according to the business, is intended to eliminate errors and faults while enhancing efficiency and interactivity in manufacturing processes.
At the annual telecom technology summit, the company showcased real-time extended reality multimedia technology, a 4G/LTE network on the Moon, a Rapid Rail NCRTC private wireless network, and radar-like sensing technology that employs 6G connectivity, among other things.
The business presented a new 6g sensing technology that promises to provide users with “situational awareness” of their surroundings, allowing them to see what is around the corner or interact with objects remotely without physically touching them. The sensing technology, according to Nokia, detects people, objects, and their movements while simultaneously acting as a form of radar and protects user privacy.
