Unibot, a cryptocurrency trading bot, has revealed that it was exploited on October 31st, resulting in a reported loss of more than $600,000. Unibot stated that the event occurred as a result of a token approval vulnerability from a new router.
The router has been halted while the team investigates the attack. It further stated that any monies lost as a result of this hack would be reimbursed to users.
Lookonchain, a onchain analysis firm, reported the ongoing hack and advised users to withdraw funds and cancel permissions from bot-related contracts.
According to DeBank data, the hacker took almost $639k from Unibot users.
To avoid monitoring of funds, the hacker transferred all cash to Tornado, a crypto mixer.
