On October 12, Wall Street Memes reported that a planned attack had been waged on its Discord community over the previous 24 hours. Following the incident, WSM told its users that it was unable to guarantee the security of its Discord server.
The WSM team is putting a lot of effort into ensuring that the Discord server is completely safe for its community. WSM warned their audience in the tweet that, even if it came from an admin or certified account, no one from their staff would message a community member directly or ask for any personal information.
It was advised exclusively to use the official Wall Street Memes Telegram, via which they will provide updates, in their official statement. The Wall Street Memes team will never ask for your personal information or send you a direct message before they have confirmed your account, it was added.
WSM expressed regret to those in the neighborhood who had been harmed by the attack. WSM is compiling a list of persons who were impacted by the assault by collecting all wallets and accounts connected to it over the previous 24 hours. They will create a fund to compensate the unlucky members of the community who were impacted after gathering all the necessary facts surrounding the incident.
Despite the attack, WSM has been working hard to prepare for the October 18 launch of its first product and to get further Tier 1 exchange listings. However, as the launch date gets closer, more information will become accessible.
